Janet Hyde is a graduate of Carrollton High School and the University of West Georgia with a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy (Pre-Law) and a Master’s of Science in Rural and Small Town Planning. She has worked for the Carroll County Board of Commissioners for four years as the County Planner and before that at the City of Villa Rica as the Community Development Director. Janet also serves on the Board of Directors of Keep Carroll Beautiful and has been on the MPA Advisory Board at the University of West Georgia for several years. She is a past Board member for the Georgia Planning Association. Janet enjoys baton twirling, outdoor activities, and her five grandchildren.
